Commercial Waste

The Hazmobile DOES NOT accept hazardous waste from commercial businesses.

Household hazardous waste is considered to be waste of a type and amount that could be reasonably found in a household. The Hazmobile site manager has the right to refuse to accept a customer's hazardous waste if he/she suspects it may be commercial.

Commercial hazardous waste is accepted by a number of companies, for a full list of these please look in the Yellow Pages under 'Waste Disposal'. Please remember that there are regulations governing the transport and disposal of hazardous waste by commercial businesses.

Please note: churches, marae and schools are not considered to be household waste for the purposes of the Hazmobile.
