Hazmobile is a free service for householders wishing to safely dispose of hazardous waste.

The Hazmobile comes to a public location near you on a specific date and you can drop off your hazardous waste such as oil, chemicals, batteries, and solvents. The waste is disposed of safely and recycled wherever possible.

If disposed of through the regular waste collection services, burnt or poured away, hazardous waste can cause serious harm to people and the environment. Join the growing number of people dropping off their waste at Hazmobile!

Some transfer stations offer year round household hazardous waste disposal facilities to all Auckland residents. For details click here.

The Hazmobile is for householders only - if your work produces hazardous waste, the Hazmobile is not for you. The service is funded by rates, which do not include waste disposal for businesses.
